I love your ideas, they look fantastic, but next time you use wood for legs or you have to place it directly on the ground then I would surgest to burn the end that goes on the ground and treat it with tar so it does'nt rot so easely it's only so you don't have to repair it in a year, because when it rains the splashing will hit the wood up to 10 cm but again.. it looks absoulutly beautyful

That deck pad was built directly on a concrete slab with non treated wood so that will rot really fast. Do not do that! You need treated wood laying in a direction to direct water away from the structure, and their should be gaps underneath for water/air movement.

@derf skittlers Yeah but the point about the screws is valid because it isn't treated all the way through, plus the treatment is only there to prevent rot while stored outside, it isn't a permanent solution, especially since most wood based moulds & fungus can eat through the treatment eventually.

Look again. It is treated wood.

Good Point! Also to screw directly from top into basewood - that will lead water (rain, cleaning whatsoe er) directly via screw into the screwholes in the basewood. I'll give it five years and the base layer will be rotted..!

Really? I doubt you will get your wish. I would suggest you just hit the 10-sec fast forward 6 times after each minute. You'll get your five-ish minute video without them having to redo it just for you. AND...you will build the muscles in your fingers. It's a win-win.

Inflatable tub deck guy.... what kind of structural support is that! Decorative Concrete pavers with a free floating piece of wood on top! The bottoms of posts need to affixed to a buried/weighted support for structure integrity! Again using non treated wood under an outdoor structure! Not only is it going to wobble and slide off of those pavers where it meets then will rot!
